Day 2 -Wednesday September 21 our Summit centers on the theme of REBUILD and will focus on federal programs, home hardening, financial considerations for rebuilding and philanthropy's role in the recovery.
The panel provided insights on the work and experience with disaster recovery and government funding regarding the rebuild. With expert knowledge from many years of experience, the opportunities and challenges for accessing Disaster Block Grant Funds for wildfire recovery community projects are explored, with examples from Oregon, Texas and California.

The Wildfire Leadership Summit took place at the Hanna Center in Sonoma, California and was built from a coalition of wildfire communities, wildfire recovery and resilience organizations, and local community groups, regional, national partners, funders, and leaders.
